Seal ‘n Lock Product F.A.Q.s

Why should I seal my pavers?
There are many reasons to seal your pavers. Sealer will protect pavers from harsh UV rays which over time will fade the colors of the pavers. Sealer will also make the surface of the pavers less absorbent. This means muddy shoes, bird droppings, spills, etc. are easier to clean with a hose. Our sealer will also enhance the natural color of your pavers and help prevent sand washout between the joints.
How long will the sealer last?
Residential brick paver sealing has a 2 year “water bead” manufacturer warranty as long as Seal ‘n Lock System’s paver protection products are applied by an authorized sealing technician.
Commercial brick paver sealing has a 1 year “water bead” manufacturer warranty as long as Seal ‘n Lock System’s paver protection products are applied by an authorized sealing technician.

Can I seal myself?
Although we do recommend utilizing an authorized sealing technician, you can seal your pavers yourself. We have included a demonstration video in our website to help you with the process.

How long does it take to have my pavers cleaned and sealed?
Since we are the “All In One Day Process” brick paver sealer you can have your pavers cleaned, wet sanded, and sealed in the same day! No more waiting for the pavers to dry, no more keeping furniture off the patio for days at a time, and no more keeping your car out of the driveway day after day waiting for the perfect weather to seal your pavers!
Will Seal ‘n Lock System’s brick paver sealer prevent mold, mildew, and algae growth?
Seal ‘n Lock System’s Natural Luster brick paver sealer will help inhibit mold, mildew, algae, and even ants once applied. We cannot eliminate the conditions that contribute to this growth, shade, and moisture. Due to the formulation of our brick paver sealer mold, mildew and algae do not grow very well on surfaces sealed with our Natural Luster sealing product. Any mold, mildew, and algae growth on the surface of the sealer is much easier to remove through periodic cleaning. Periodic cleaning also reduces the accumulation of debris and dusts that may result in growth on the surface of the sealer. We recommend rinsing these surfaces with a garden hose every 36 months.
